Gaudeamus Sacred Feast [CD-526]

For years, Tom Jung has been searching for the most lifelike method of recording a live musical performance. Perhaps he comes the closest to date with this stereo/5 channel discrete surround DTS recording titled "Sacred Feast", a synergy of choral music in a wonderful acoustic space. Gaudeamus consists of a hand selected group of superb singers under the direction of Paul Halley, a veteran choir/director/composer/organist. The choir at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York City was under Paul’s direction from 1977 to 1989. He is also the recipient of three Grammy Awards.
