Stokowski Conducts Baroque Masterworks VIVALDI The Four Seasons HANDEL Messiah Highlights 'Phase 4 Stereo' - 2-CDs for the price of 1 Cala Records presents the 22nd release in its critically acclaimed series of historical recordings of the legendary conductor Leopold Stokowski.   Featuring two of the most popular and endearing works in classical music, these sumptuous 1966 'Phase 4 Stereo' recordings are here newly re-mastered with 24-bit 96kHz technology.   Records and Recording described the Messiah highlights as "perfectly straightforward, beautifully sung and played," while The Four Seasons was hailed by Gramophone as "a dramatic performance of magnificently rich quality."   Produced in association with The Leopold Stokowski Society, this 2-CD set celebrates the 25th anniversary of the founding of the Society.
