This perennial audiophile favorite is one of Prof. Keith Johnson's all-time best recordings of the world-renowned Minnesota Orchesta, here in its first recordings with their ninth music director, Eiji Oue, a protege of Seiji Ozawa and Leonard Bernstein.   He led them from 1995 to 2002.

The compact disc (RR-70 HDCD) was a 1997 GRAMMY® nominee for “Best Engineered, Classical.”

“My previous audio standard for Sacre, … is surpassed by the extraordinary naturalism of this superbly engineered disc, which brings the music into my living room with such impact that it's almost uncomfortable at times.” Leslie Gerber- Fanfare
