Multichannel SuperAudio CD With the Blues as basic ground, he does a very interesting, sensitive and soulful mixture of Rock, Jazz, Fusion and World Music and even with influences of Classical and in a very personal and different way. On this, his debut album, he has written all of the music himself and he also plays piano, keyboards and electric bass. Many of the songs have been composed with pictures in mind and very often with a strong relation to nature. During many years he has composed some of his music for a couple of painters to be used at their exhibitions. Peder af Ugglas has been working as musician for over 15 years and it is a wonder that no record company had discovered him before I did. Needless to say, I am very glad for that and I feel no doubt to compare him with other great and well known guitar players (I have always been a guitar freak myself). Peder af Ugglas has also been working as a record producer and studio musician for over 10 years with many well known and famous Swedish artists, among others, Louise Hoffsten. This album is also the first one recorded in the new Opus 3 studio and indicates partly the direction of my musical choice for the future. However, I am not going to stop recording classical music in the future, although it will be to a lesser degree. - Jan-Eric Persson, Opus 3
