OVER AND OVER Bode has tons of potential and should prove a welcome addition to the annals of contemporary jazz songbirds. JazzTimes Vocalist Erin Bode has the talent, versatility and personality to appeal to a wide range of music fans. She has crossover appeal. On her new MAXJAZZ CD, Erin performs a number of compelling original compositions and memorable versions of pop classics. Guest appearance by saxophonist Seamus Blake. Over and Over follows the release of her successful MAXJAZZ debut Don't Take Your Time, which received critical acclaim. The Wall Street Journal commented, Don't Take Your Time is a very promising debut album. Ms. Bode will no doubt evolve and pursue a variety of styles in her singing career. But may she never lose the girlishness that makes this album such a treasure. In addition to touring around the U.S., Erin and her group have embarked on several European tours. She has also opened for the likes of Chris Botti, Macy Gray, Jamie Cullum and Michael Bublé. Erin Bode is on her way.
