A 99.9999% Silver Disc Originally Wind Over Earth WE2320, Recorded 1982-1893 This is one of only two New Age albums I have ever re-mastered; the other is The Lost World. Some of my friends are fascinated with New Age music, and I like it, too. However, if I have to choose between electronic New Age and traditional acoustic productions, I generally select the latter — unless there is some special quality of a New Age album that has touched my soul. I listen to classical music with a deep concentration. On the other hand, when I play a New Age disc, I let the music flow over me, to help me gain moments of clarity, to refresh my mind and revitalize my body. This album has renewed me in just this way. It is an exceptional recording, as the music is not played by MIDI only: there are beautiful cello, violin, piano, drum, and voice performances, as well as unique 4 and 8 string solid body celli! The music is composed by the featured virtuoso cellist, David Darling, and beautifully played by him, with elegant support from other instruments developing heavenly harmonics. The music draws you into a space of tranquility, with the fine ensemble Grafting an atmosphere in which you feel embraced by Mother Nature.
