Berta Rojas began her international career with a debut in the Purcell Room of the South Bank Centre in London. Since then she has presented recitals in Salzburg, Vienna, Cologne, Bonn, Rome, Budapest, Washington, Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo, Santiago de Chile, Montevideo and Asuncion, the latter in her native country of Paraguay. Her teachers include Abel Carlevaro, Eduardo Fernandez, Mario Payseé Felipe Sosa, Violeta de Mestral, Manuel Barrueco and Ray Chester. She has been soloist of the Montevideo Symphonic Orchestra, Ensemble Asunceno de Cuerdas, Philomusica de Asuncion and Arcos. She was also artistic director of the first Agustin Barrios International Competition and Festival in Paraguay.
