Mysterious Shorter is the sixth title in our New York Sessions jazz series. The release pays tribute to the legendary Wayne Shorter and features innovative tenor saxophonist and arranger Bob Belden, trumpet player Nicholas Payton, guitarist John Hart, keyboardist Sam Yahel and drummer Billy Drummond. Shorter is, of course, the brilliant but erratic musician who casts a long shadow over the history of jazz as a multitalented sax man and composer.
