Chesky is proud to release the fourth Livingston Taylor album On Chesky Records. This CD has an all-star roster of musicians and singers and is Livingston's strongest CD to date.
“Best of Friends” is the opening cut. It features Livingston and Carly Simon singing an engaging up-tempo pop duet. Both James and Kate Taylor sing backing vocals on “There I‘ll Be,” and the track also features Pam Tillis and Vince Gill.
Vince Gill appears again on “Wish I Were A Cowboy.” On the gospel tune “Tell Jesus,” the group Take 6 performs their a-cappella magic, backing Livingston‘s lead vocal. The barn-burner “Step by Step,” features Andrae Crouch and The New Day Jubilee Choir.
David Sanborn‘s sax is featured on “Tuesday's Lullaby,” along with Gary Burton on vibes and strings from some members of The New York Philharmonic Orchestra.
