Ballad of the Gnomes ![]() Philharmonia Orchestra Geoffrey Simon Respighi (1879-1936) settled in Rome in 1913 for the rest of his life and it was here that he was to produce a large amount of highly varied music, some of it well known, much of it less so. ![]() ![]() The music was digitally recorded with the Philharmonia Orchestra in December 1990 at Goldsmiths College, London.
