Phantasiestücke Music for clarinet and piano from the German Romantic Period André Moisan CLARINETTE | CLARINET Jean Saulnier PIANO ACD2 2516 Award-winning clarinetist André Moisan returns with Phantasiestücke, his seventh ATMA Classique CD, which includes the world premiere recording of a sonata by Josef Rheinberger.   Known for his consummate mastery of the instrument, Moisan has chosen to complement the Rheinberger with romances of the German Romantic period by von Weber, Schumann, von Sachsen-Meiningen and Reinecke.   He is joined by pianist Jean Saulnier, also his partner on the critically acclaimed 2005 ATMA Classique recording of sonatas by Brahms and Jenner. Moisan celebrates the 30th anniversary of his professional career during the 2007/2008 season, when he will appear as guest soloist with Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal under Kent Nagano.
